Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost to send a letter?
We charge a flat rate of $3.99 per letter. This includes printing, envelope, postage, and handling.
What’s included in the $3.99 fee?
Your fee includes printing your letter, optional photo upload, packaging, postage, and direct delivery to the correctional facility.
How long does it take for my letter to be mailed?
We print and mail your letter within 1 business day. Delivery time depends on USPS and the facility’s internal mail process.
Can I upload a photo with my letter?
Yes. You can upload one JPG or PNG image (under 2MB). Please avoid inappropriate content, as it may cause the letter to be rejected.
Can I send letters to any jail or prison?
Yes, we support mailing to any state, county, or federal correctional facility in the United States.
What if I don’t know what to write?
We offer a free AI writing tool. Just click “Need help writing?” on the form, and it will help you generate a personal, meaningful message.
Do you screen the letters before sending?
Yes. We automatically filter messages for language that may cause rejection by the facility, but we do not read or share your message.
Is my letter private?
Yes. Your letter is never shared with anyone except the intended recipient. All communication is secure and confidential.
Do you offer refunds?
All sales are final once your letter is submitted for printing. We cannot offer refunds for mail rejected by the facility.
Can I track my letter?
We do not provide USPS tracking. Most jails do not offer delivery confirmations. Letters are mailed via First Class mail.
Will the recipient know it’s from me?
Yes. Your full name and return address will appear on the envelope and letter unless you choose to leave it blank.
Can I send more than one letter?
Yes! You can use our form as often as you’d like to send additional letters to the same or different recipients.
Do you offer bulk discounts?
Not yet, but we’re working on it! Contact us if you plan to send multiple letters or run a group campaign.
Can I include my phone number or email in the letter?
Yes, but please be aware that some facilities may block messages that include personal contact info. It’s your responsibility to follow the rules of the recipient’s facility.
Can I type a letter and upload it instead?
At this time, we only support typed messages through our web form. PDF or DOC uploads are not accepted.
Do you notify me when the letter is delivered?
No. We send the letter via USPS, and we cannot confirm when the facility processes or delivers it to the inmate.
What if I entered the wrong address?
If you made an error, contact us immediately. If the letter hasn’t been printed yet, we may be able to fix it.
Do you serve people in ICE detention or immigration centers?
Yes. You can send letters to ICE or immigration-related detention centers just like any other correctional facility.
Is this service legit?
Yes. We are a real business based in the U.S. that exists to help people stay connected with incarcerated loved ones in a safe and affordable way.
